2. I am amazed that the ONLY photos of the accused shooter are a childhood photo & his rear view

from a doorbell video more than a year ago when he was arrested for threatening to bomb his mother's residence.

How could there be no mug shots--either then (when felony charges were inexplicably dropped) or now? El Paso County/CO Springs Cops and DA have some real explaining to do.

8. I just watched

It was interesting. As much as I would like to know each and every detail, they are not yet known or released because of the investigation.

I would like to give kudos for the lady (sorry, didn't catch her name) who repeated the questions that attendees asked. It sure makes the answers make more sense for us out here in TV land.

Maybe I'm being oversensitive, but it seems like they were doing everything to dodge questions about the fact the sheriff wouldn't enforce the gun laws and how the shooter was a bomber and threatened his mom. I get the feeling those people at the press conference are like the judge in the Rittenhouse case. They are just sorry the shooter went this far.

12. I gather there is bad blood between El Paso Sheriff's Dept. and CO Springs Police Dept.. or at least

between the sheriff and the Police Chief. Likewise with the Local DA. So, it seems they were careful to deny any role in a previous arrest (which I believe is true), thereby sending reporters onward to said, Sheriff.

13. i'm very familiar with the area, but hadn't realized the hood where the prev arrest was county

so yeah, CSPD would have no jurisdiction. the neighborhood is Lorson Ranch. seems there's a disproportionate amount of weird shit there. i think two years ago a mom in that neighborhood killed her son and put his body in a suitcase and drove it to Florida to dispose of.
