There are less than six weeks until the GOP clown show takes over the House.

I hope the Dems jam through as many laws as they can before then. The GOP plays dirty politics every chance they get. We should jump in on that too. Voting protection, same sex marriage are just two thing that come to mind. There certainly should be more than that. It also would have been nice to have tried and convicted some higher ups from the January 6th insurrection, but that seems to be progressing slower than molasses in January. How about MTG asking/getting? a pardon in her first week of office? There were many supposed GOP House members involved in the 6th, why are they still members?

It really seems the higher up the ladder a person is stationed , whether through wealth or political placement, the more protection they have from crime. Steal a pack of cigarettes and you are in jail the next day, steal $100 million and you are fined $10,000 and left off scot free. It has happened so many times since 1980 it is ridiculous.

I thought I read here somewhere that the laws expire with the new Congress. live love laugh Nov 2022 #1
Yes, legislation being considered expires when a new Congress starts In It to Win It Nov 2022 #2

Or something like that … because that doesn’t make sense.

I hope to be enlightened.
