4. I'd love to see assault weapons ban added to that list

Biden did it before, let's do it again, even if it includes stomping on rethuglican bullshit.

"Then-senator Joe Biden’s signature crime bill had ground its way through Congress after months of tedious effort. But after an unexpected flare-up over guns raised the threat of a filibuster, the lawmaker from Delaware took the Senate floor for an impassioned plea.

13. It doesn't matter what style weapon, "assault" or sporting...

… as long as a round is advanced each time the trigger is pulled, all style weapons are equally effective at killing people.

So this bill is nothing more than eyewash and does little to stop the carnage. Ban semiautomatic weapons period and it might save some lives, but I can’t see that ever happening. Make all new weapons single shot and limit ammo storage to three rounds and we might get somewhere.

In about 500 years when most semi autos and large capacity ammo clips have rusted away.
