I’m on the floor of the U.S. Senate to stand with rail workers as they fight for paid sick leave and improved working conditions from rail companies that made $20 billion in profits last year.

3. Stand with the rail workers

I am in total solidarity with the rail workers. They need to hang tight and strike if they don’t get what they are rightfully entitled to.

I am lucky to live in a blue state where we have paid sick time. My employer is also pretty decent where we, for the most part, get our schedules 2 weeks ahead. But these are things EVERY worker should get, not to mention a decent living wage. We need to keep fighting for them!
