General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsWhen Trump was elected president this fact scared the hell out me for good reason.
Anyone who works in the White House has to pass a security clearance. The cook, the custodian, have to pass a security clearance. If Trump applied for any job at the White House before he was president, he would not get that job because he would have failed a security clearance.
The Trump voters ignored this simple fact and look where we are now. Trump stole secret documents. It is unbelievable how the Trump voters ignored how extraordinarily unqualified, corrupt, Trump was for president.
Trump voters will become infamous for all time. History is going to be very cruel to them.

And he tried to overthrow our government.
There should be a law that anyone who runs for president should first pass a security check. Otherwise how do we know if they are a foreign agent or not? Look at how many we in the Trump administration.

(19,193 posts)How many of our nation's secrets, and secrets of our allies, were stolen, sold, or will be sold to our enemies?
We know nothing of what the orange traitor gave to his man-crush, Vladimir Putin, because he insisted on being alone whenever they were together, even to the point of using Putin's interpreter exclusively.
His cult doesn't even question that, because to them their orange messiah could do no wrong. He was - as the orange traitor loves to say - perfect.

He was impeached TWICE for crissake, why is he even allowed to run ?? And lets not forget, he lost the popular vote twice also. What a country.

(8,716 posts)About History. They will control the storyline and the school lessons. Outlawed like CRT. They will create a Holiday with a massive feast of Cheese Berders and Chocolate cake, military parade through New York, celebrating the coming together of the two sides, white washing the land theft, brutality, rape and murder of the white MurKKKa side. No damn Black Friday shit. Will be a White one with massive discounts of gun sales. Merry Trump Day. No Turkeys, Vultures. (Wall Street ones, with lots of Pardons)

(205,202 posts)WASHINGTON President Trump ordered his chief of staff to grant his son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, a top-secret security clearance last year, overruling concerns flagged by intelligence officials and the White Houses top lawyer, four people briefed on the matter said.
Mr. Trumps decision in May so troubled senior administration officials that at least one, the White House chief of staff at the time, John F. Kelly, wrote a contemporaneous internal memo about how he had been ordered to give Mr. Kushner the top-secret clearance.
The White House counsel at the time, Donald F. McGahn II, also wrote an internal memo outlining the concerns that had been raised about Mr. Kushner including by the C.I.A. and how Mr. McGahn had recommended that he not be given a top-secret clearance.
The disclosure of the memos contradicts statements made by the president, who told The New York Times in January in an Oval Office interview that he had no role in his son-in-law receiving his clearance.
[snip]
Mr. Kushner has spent this week abroad working on a Middle East peace plan. Among his meetings was one with Mohammed bin Salman, the crown prince of Saudi Arabia.

(27,573 posts)Just as soon as Jared got his clearance, he kept asking for more and more classified documents. He couldn't get enough, according to my memory. Maybe that was most chilling of all.
