Heading To The Burgh Soon

Heading down scenic Rt. 28, Trump country, to Thanksgiving dinner at my daughters in Allison Park.

Now I just smile and laugh at the Trump/Mastriano/Oz signs that are still up. I especially like one sign that says, God says Trump 2022.

Hold the fort down, don't eat too much turkey, goodbye for 4 days. Happy Thanksgiving.

OK, leaving in about an hour, wife needs to make arrangements to have our kitties fed. Not taking our 1 indoor cat who either pukes and poops 15 minutes into the drive or 15 minutes before we arrive. Yeah we tried the stuff the vet gave us, this cat isn't a car cat. She is a shelter cat, the most timid cat we have ever had. Bye, over and out.

Safe trip and good meal!

we celebrated a birthday having "A Bucket of Rocks for a Buck!'
Yeah, 7 pony bottles of Rolling Rock for ONE DOLLAR!

Crazy history for that brew though. Was brewed in Latrobe (Arnie's 'home!') until Budweiser bought it and moved the 'brewing of it' to New Jersey. The new owners of that brewery in Latrobe then brewed Iron City (originally brewed in Pittsburgh) until a new owner moved 'Iron City' to what was the original PPG plant in Creighton, now the new home of Iron City Beer!

Whatever is your choice of beverage for the day - have a Happy Thanksgiving!

... a tap in a tavern just two blocks from the brewery was incredible. It might have been true then, but not after they were bought out. I imagine that happened to Rolling Rock, too.

The 99cent bottle special should have been a tip off, but the hamburgers were outstanding.

I grew up in the North Hills, between Perrysville and Wexford. My cousin Mike lives off of 28 in Harmarville.
