My purpose isn't to start a debate on the legality or morality of sex work. But it is legal and regulated in many jurisdictions around the world including the state of Nevada.

These losers who have built entire personal identities (and even a pathetic social movement) around the fact they can't get laid despite their perceived entitlement in that regard can't scrape together a plane ticket and some condoms?

What am I missing?

They aren't unloved incels because they can't get laid. They can't get laid because they are assholes and then become incels. Most men can't have sex whenever they want at various points in their lives. They don't all become incels. Hookers won't help that self-loathing.

They really want love, but don't have a clue as to where or how to get something - something they likely didn't get from their parents. Having to pay for sex only proves to themselves their lack of worth and inability to attract others or have real relationships. Might help for a day, but after that, guilt and frustration would likely ratchet up. Also, they may well discover they have other issues with sexual dysfunction, and in many cases, I suspect, their secret closeted fantasies and hidden confusion about their own attractions to other men would bring about more fear and self-loathing.

I can't venture an opinion because I don't know anyone like this nor have I followed enough news stories or psychology articles on persons with this disorder.

I don't know how one would become familiar with this issue.

I do know one thing, and that is that personality disorders are nearly impossible to cure, i.e., there are no solutions at this time.

Can't recall which noted psychiatrist or psychologist said it, but this person said he'd take a schizophrenia or a manic depression case any day over a personality disorder because they are so difficult to treat.

MeidasTouch has that "expose" video on Fuentes up. He goes into this huge description of what he wants in a woman...and it's pretty obvious why he doesn't have a girlfriend. The outstanding one was that he expects this hypothetical wife to bear him at least five children, at least three of which must be boys.

Okay, so listen close: THERE IS NOT ONE HETERO MALE ON THE FACE OF THIS PLANET WHO CAN'T FIND A WOMAN TO HAVE SEX WITH. If you don't agree with me, take your little liberal tail straight to Walmart on a Saturday afternoon and look at the married couples walking around in there. You will find:

men you can smell from thirty feet away

...I can tell you (at least I'd think in some cases) it's not simply about getting sex per se.

It's very dispiriting and demoralizing to not be wanted by those you want. It's humiliating to feel left out of the sexual life that so many around you seem to have far less trouble with.

Paying for sex wouldn't solve that. It would just make you feel more pathetic to have to pay for it.

I never turned toward the kind of ugly misogyny that characterizes those we now call "incels", and maybe for some of them it's a very different thing than I went through, but I'm pretty sure I know some of what many of them feel.

Very few people, of course, find relationships and sex and romance easy. But it's still a very different think to feel you aren't even in the game at all. You have no bad dates to complain about because you have no dates at all. You have no bad sex to complain about because you have no sex at all.
