No tornadoes on the ground at the moment, but conditions are ripe for heavy storm activity and possible tornadoes developing later in the day. Currently one warning in TX and LA, two in MS. Ryan Hall's YouTube channel is live this afternoon and evening for anyone who wants to keep tabs on the weather. DUers in these areas and thereabouts, please stay safe.

(25,981 posts)The weather front is moving east and it took a while to spin up, but the bad storms have arrived. There are five or six supercells active now and currently seven tornado warnings. Since night has fallen it's hard to tell what's going on, so please turn on the weather channel or whatever you use to keep track, and stay alert. Be ready to take shelter.
Stay safe!
