7. I watched it. It's so gratifying that such a long-time activist icon...

that Jane Fonda is, she did not disappoint. She's still on top of things and is working specifically on climate issues, which of course are existential to humanity. She cited efforts to halt drilling permits and other measures to stop the petroleum industry from further defiling our planet's atmosphere.

This defiling has been going on since the industrial revolution of the early 20th century, but we've known, and so has the oil industry, since the early '60s that the burning of oil is killing the planet.

The industry or course, as did the tabacco industry, hide the damaging revelations for years and is still doing so

My hat is off to her and her continued activism.
