I'm retiring to the bedroom with my dogs to await Bronco Bama's victory speech.

I hope it comes soon? I hope I don't miss it.

This was great! You guys are/were great! How exciting. How thrilling. And it's over. The task is done. Despite the voter suppression, the faulty voting machines, the corrupt Secretaries of State....the people went to the polls, stood in line for hours, and voted.

We did it. And the result is right and good.

Social Security and Medicare will not be privatized any time soon. We have hope of health care, now. We will have health care exchanges with a few discounted policies, for those of us who need it. We will continue on the path to being greener. We have a hope of dealing with global warming. We will continue to believe in science. And we won't have a war with Iran any time soon.

These things are good. To think that almost half the country is willing to throw those things out the window is unbelievable and shocking. What the hell has happened to those people?

But....we keep a sane President who, IMO, has done an excellent job under extraordinarily bad circumstances.

And to those who run for President on vague statements, unreleased tax returns, etch a sketch beliefs, lack of character, shady money dealings in foreign countries, you are on notice that we expect more.
