if germany can arrest their perps of their attempted coup the next day,,

why cant we arrest the top ones here NOW? full stop.

Also, and maybe more importantly, the German coup plotters had been under investigation for months prior to the arrests, and the cops already had the goods on them. Our investigators didn't have that advantage, and had to start the process, including having to identify the perps by collecting hundreds of videos, after the event had occurred.

The hundreds of videos were the hoi polloi drawn into the event

The plotters and organizers walk free, years later.

Garland chose to begin at the bottom. With the rabble who are the least dangerous (in this insurrection) to the Constitution and the cause of liberty.
