The change is well underway . . . . .

. . . . . the change to broader empowerment in this nation.

Women are clearly empowered and moving fast. Lost more to go, but they have won a lot just in this cycle.

Latinos are empowered. They are recognized. They will be heard and they will be listened to.

Black Americans found the righteousness at the core of their anger and turned it into a measurable force as they stood determinedly, in long lines to cast their votes. The Black churches may have eclipsed the influence of the white Christian churches.

Gay people got recognized and were finally able to take their seat at The Table.

Gone are the days of middle aged white guys with bad combovers running things. For that, alone, we should be grateful.

The changes are systemic now. There will be no going back. Only forward.

You are happy that there is more and more momentum for the rightful equality of all people but then single out "middle aged white guys with combovers..." Tell me, what exactly is it about them that makes you feel they are inferior?

the post pointed out that all Americans will have to be treated equally and with respect in order to win elections. The Southern Strategy is on it's last legs.

And for that we should all be grateful.
