"Leaked" abortion decision and pushing the red wave.

I believe there was some thought that whoever "leaked" the Supreme Court vote on abortion. that they thought that if they leaked it early enough, the outrage on our part would dissipate long before the midterm election (get the bad news over with and out of the way) and the onslaught of Republican polls showing a "red wave" along with pushing the narrative that the anger over the abortion decision was over with and not going to be a serious factor in the election. They pushed that narrative to suppress discouraged Dem and independent voters.

They don't get it that every time there is another story of a woman denied medication because of her sex, even if it isn't for abortion, is afraid of being arrested for going to the ER because of vaginal bleeding, women and girls who are shamed for not being ready to bear or raise a child, we are reminded of the cruelty a minority of Americans are capable of.

the faux outrage by the reich wingers regarding the leak and the subsequent Roberts' "investigation" of such was merely kabuki theater. Responsible party - Sammy "The Leaker" Alito.

… that we’d all go back 50 years and be ashamed that we bleed and can die of being pregnant. They thought we’d — what’s the word? — Go Quietly.

They really thought that, the far-right SCOTUS and their Handmaid.

Well, it turns out they were wrong.
We are outraged and we’re not getting over it.
Our men suddenly realized that the women they loved were one untreated medical emergency away from actual death.
And we gray haired old feminists birthed two generations of women who are not ashamed of their bodies and their blood.

I can’t believe I still have to protest this shit.

about the abortion decision the same thing Bush and his cronies believed about the "Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States" memo: "Let it happen - how bad could it be, it might even help us."

In the Bin Laden case, they were wrong about how bad it would be but right about it helping them. In the abortion case they were wrong about how bad it would be but this time they were also wrong about it helping them.

That's what comes from living in a Faux Lies bubble.
