Another anti-musk, anti-twitter rant

Posted just now in response to yet another OP that just sticks a twitter link out there like it is "real news".

I hate to beat this drum. But just posting a link to Musk's fouled platform is a disservice.

Since so many here on DU say that they get their "news" from twitter - be aware - Musk is in control of what you see and will track you.

If you like Musk - fine - keep on just posting twitter links. But don't expect any thinking people to follow them to see the content.

But if you understand that he is not in this to forward accurate news clips, then you are participating in his propaganda network.

There are things called VPN's and everybody tracks you if you are not using one. Your internet provider, google, msn, walmart, Amazon, you are tracked prob thousands of times a day. Is there no one in control of what you see?

If you like Musk - fine - keep on just posting twitter links. But don't expect any thinking people to follow them to see the content.

You can not like Musk and still go to twitter for other people. Thinking people? That's just argument by insulting, nice work for a liberal.

Twitter has a lot of news sources that are not elon musk and are indeed accurate.

4. You shouldn't accuse other DU'ers of being paid trolls. It is rude and unfair.

If you don’t want to read posts with Tweets in them, trash the threads.

If you think twitter should be banned as a source, take it up with the site owners. I doubt you’ll have much luck though.

Appreciate it. I am more than willing to have a polite conversation and there is no reason for anyone here to get upset enough that we cant. If I have offended erronis in some way I surely did not intend it and offer my apologies.
