The Cleveland CBS channel my husband is watching broke into regular programming

To show 2 different videos of the Memphis cops beating Tyre Nichols. They warned it was going to be graphic. I’m surprised they did that but in a way I’m glad they did that. This vicious, senseless, act of violence needs to be seen. You cannot view this without being sickened and infuriated. Policing needs to be fixed in this country. Full stop.

those reforms to over 18,000+ police organizations across the nation. Learned the 18,000+ figure from guest on Alex Wagner’s show on Friday night. The guest was Samuel Sinyangwe whose organization collects data on police violence across the nation. See their police score card here - https://policescorecard.org/.

It was like they were drugged/roided up to the max from minute 1. I would be scared AF too. He tried his best to be calm and compliant but he knew he was going to die in that encounter. They were out for blood and they got it.
