I’m glad Butler was given an opportunity to talk about the situation on MSNBC tonight. He is calm but very clear in his analysis. Devastating.

Prejudgment on my part and shame on me but... guess that mindset is just contagious maybe?

Or are people attracted to that line of work of a certain mindset to begin with?

with the police chief. She spoke frankly about the incident. I believe that she is the reason why they were fired and charged so quickly and the video released. Nothing to do with race since she is also Black.

to attack peaceful protesters marching for BLM.

They wore unmarked uniforms. They beat people, they kidnapped them off the streets and the gassed the entire fucking downtown with god knows what.

Abusive behavior of this nature doesn’t happen in a vacuum. On some level this was sanctioned by higher ups.
