Judge Orders Deposition of Trump

February 23, 2023 at 3:33 pm EST By Taegan Goddard 43 Comments

“A federal judge has agreed to permit former FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page to take sworn testimony from former President Donald Trump for two hours as part of their long-running lawsuits related to Strzok’s firing in 2018 after Trump repeatedly and publicly pilloried the pair,” Politico reports.

decision to invoke it.

Plaintiffs lawyers will probably be trying to get him to invoke it. Costs them nothing to try ...

Trump tried to sue them along with Hillary Clinton and 20 or so others but got nailed with $1 mil sanction

Outrageous abuse of power, disgusting and hypocritical to attack them so publicly over something trump has done his entire life without any regrets.

If only we could institute a special tax so that only Trump supporters had to pay for all the lawsuits against the federal government he provided grounds for.

It's not the same thing as a trial, and there's no jury present.

Still ... it would be great if Chump starts flapping his yap. Maybe the lawyers will trigger Chump into saying stuff that can go against him later. There's a very good chance that this will be kept under wraps though. Especially if Chump settles and agrees to pay damages, rather than go to court.

We'll see.

I'm happy for them. It will be interesting to see what they learn... Also, how much of a tantrum he throws... and how long he can drag it out. I expect this lawsuit is not a major, MAJOR concern for him with all the possible criminal cases swirling around, but it's one more thing not going "his way."
