He was explaining how the reich wing echo chamber (or "Conservative Entertainment Complex" as he aptly describes it) had brainwashed Conservatives into believing the myths about Myth and stating they had been "beaten badly" in the election.
Mary Maudlin, clutching pearls and visibly shocked that one of her own was lifting the curtain, tried to come back with the usual "what about the Liberal echo chamber?", to which both Anderson Cooper and David Frum seemed to just scoff at. Cooper saw that there's a validity to what Frum was saying and expressed a genuine keenness to have him back for more on this.
Frum's apparently written a book in record time called "Why Romney Lost". Prescient title, sure, but I doubt it says anything about President Obama simply being infinitely the best candidate and Americans wanting 4 more years of his Presidency.
Transcript, video later as and when I find them.

I think that she was wearing that thing as a bet.
I loved the way Cooper was laughing AT her in the end.

(18,402 posts)(Conservative Entertainment Complex) they have to buck up and start refusing to go on it. Cold turkey. I know that will be hard to do. But they need to use mainstream and various local outlets exclusively. There's still enough of the establishment left to segue the party out of there.
Sure, in the meantime, the CEC will be promoting Tea Party crackpots, but they can be denied RNC funds and get no backing. It may take an election cycle or two to effect this change and take back their party to half sanity. I don't see anyway to do it but to totally turn their backs on Rush, Fox, et al.
