(1,127 posts)Generative AI/LLMs like ChatGPT are equivalent to the invention of the telephone or the printing press. A big deal but not enough to end life as we know it. The deliberately-stoked fear of AI is doubly risible, considering that we're facing an imminent climate emergency that will almost certainly eclipse anything else within a few years.

(13,948 posts)From grade school to university.. How do you teach a person to learn? I almost always get a astonished look and a poorly answered question. All about everybody is different and "learns" at their own pace. No nuts and bolts on how it's done.
My education on how to learn was non existent to very poor. It was only till I got older did I figure out what works for me..
This AI would tailor the learning to the student. A one on one if you will.
