"SNIP.........
The suspected mass shooter who killed at least eight people at an Allen, Texas mall on Saturday frequently posted pro-white supremacist and neo-Nazi materials on social media, Rolling Stone reports.

(16,207 posts)Not all groups in the ideology did this, but a majority of them. So Hispanics, Italian, and Greeks would fall under their definition of white.

(9,911 posts)of the pile of bodies I saw showed them to be pretty white. At least as white as he was.

(7,878 posts)Of the victims that have been named so far, one looks to be white (he was a security guard that was working at the mall during the shooting).
One is of Indian descent.
Three are of Korean descent.

Three of the victims were a Korean-American family. Their 5 yo is the only one to survive, still in the hospital.

(9,063 posts)They are out and out fascists and domestic terrorists. And plenty of Hispanics are anti-immigration for new hispanics. They seem to feel like they are here and that's enough. Pull up the ladder. Close the border.

The Proud Boys is an exclusively male North American far-right neo-fascist organization that promotes and engages in political violence in the United States.[1][10][11] The group's leaders have been convicted of violently opposing the US government, including the constitutionally prescribed transfer of presidential power.[12] It has been called a street gang[13][14] and was designated as a terrorist group in Canada[15][16] and New Zealand.[9] The Proud Boys are known for their opposition to left-wing and progressive groups and for their support for former U.S. President Donald Trump.[1][11]
The group originated in the far-right Taki's Magazine in 2016 under the leadership of Vice Media co-founder and former commentator Gavin McInnes,[1] taking its name from the song "Proud of Your Boy" from the 2011 Disney musical Aladdin.[17] Although the Proud Boys initially emerged as part of the alt-right,[1] McInnes distanced himself from this movement in early 2017, saying the Proud Boys were alt-lite while the alt-right's focus was on race.[18] Donald Trump's comment, "Proud Boys, stand back and stand by," during the October 2020 presidential debate, was credited with greatly increasing interest and recruitment.[19] After Trump's remark caused an outcry for its seeming endorsement of a violent far-right group, Trump condemned the Proud Boys by name while saying that he did not "know much about" the organization.[20][21]
According to Samantha Kutner of the International Centre for Counter-Terrorism, the group believes men and Western culture are under siege. Although the group officially rejects white supremacy, Kutner believes that "Western chauvinism" is a code or euphemism for the White genocide conspiracy theory.[22] Furthermore, members have in the past participated in overtly racist events and events centered around fascist, anti-left, and anti-socialist violence.[22] The Proud Boys glorify violence, and the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has called the group an "alt-right fight club" and a hate group that uses rhetorical devices to obscure its actual motives.[11][23][24][25] The organization has been described as a hate group by NPR's The Takeaway and the SPLC.[26] The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has described the Proud Boys as "extremist conservative" and "alt lite", "overtly Islamophobic and misogynistic", "transphobic and anti-immigration", "all too willing to embrace racists, antisemites and bigots of all kinds", and notes the group's promotion and use of violence as a core tactic.[27]

(12,702 posts)In the states affected by the Treaty of Guadeloupe, there are people with Hispanic names and surnames who have very little Native Central American/Native American heritage in their background. That's why there's a Census category of Hispanic -White.
Early Spanish/Mexican colonial culture had a fairly strict caste system.
It's very plausible this guy was a fifth/sixth generation Tejano and despite his name, had not an ounce of "Hispanic"culture or identity in him.

(5,011 posts)and what is used to describe post WWII movements. They aren't Nazis because they aren't from Germany and a member of that party. But they have similar goals and methods. Hence Neo (new) Nazis.
If you research Neo Nazis, you will find out the differences.
