But some older Dems only saw a great candidate for the future, completely unaware of the immediate threat democracy was facing in NC. Jackson - the best campaigner in all of NC - would have energized all voters as the top of the ticket and protected our Supreme Court majority.

a future candidate, with no urgency of WTF this state was about to face with a Supreme Court giving NCGOP everything they wanted.
