Wow! McCarthy is going nuts over Biden going to the G7 Summit!

Does not understand why Biden would go overseas for 8 days with the debt ceiling looming?

Well Kevin! This should have been done by now but you refused to compromise the deal and it was your own leader whose bill has been paid yet!

the world's economy to make the House Free Dumb caucus happy?

How fucked up is this: Donald Trump's tax cuts for the obscenely wealthy are responsible for a QUARTER OF OUR NATION'S ENTIRE DEBT and Republicans want to cut YOUR social security to pay for it, and that's what this debt ceiling bullshit is all about. fucking unacceptable

BTW Read a republican response to Tiedrich's tweet blaming the democrats for running up
the debt in 2020 w/the C-19 relief checks.

Biden trusts his negotiators and can be contacted immediately should there be a breakthrough or question. Biden is President of the US, and thus can delegate tasks to extremely qualified and knowledgeable professional staff he trusts when he has other obligations, like attending a very important international/global economic summit with world leaders.

Kev can hang out with Gaetz and MTG and lead his House to find common ground to pass a bill to pay debts already incurred that will pass in the Senate. Kev wanted the title as Speaker of the House, but forgot about the job that comes with the title.

thing at a time. It's not like the president needs to physically be in a room to negotiate. In this case, it's McCarthy that needs to pass a bill and Biden really doesn't have a function in the House.

Thus, it's all made up outrage. Does anyone think the US is more served by the president skipping G7 to talk to the Speaker of the house about GOP fantasy meanness to poor people? Well, the morons on FOX, but anyone based in reality?

I'll bet he's terrified of the turtle!

As much as I dislike Mitch, the mental image of Kevin cowering in his shadow is a cheering thought. Mitch is awful, but he's not stupid enough to play games that could crash our economy. Kev is both awful AND stupid, in addition to being under the control of House members like MTG who are even more awful and more stupid. That makes Kevin very, VERY dangerous.

I was telling someone this morning that I don't believe that Biden will let a default happen.

Even if the Republicans try to make it happen, he will override it and do what needs to be done in the end.

If that happens, he's a shoe-in for '24.
