right click, then copy the address that is listed in "Properties." Paste the address in your draft post, and it should work.

even tho I arrange my photos in folders for special usage of related images here on DU. It always scrambles the images I have so carefully laid out in my folder! Is there something easier than tinypic?

Even on simply uploads it can take a lot of time just getting it all right...

I have storage space linked to my broadband account but, I believe other people use Photobucket. Once the photo is online, you only need to link to it in your post and it will appear. You can hit the preview button to make sure it worked.

then just paste the address into your post

if you don't have a photo bucket or other free photo account you'll need to start one, or if you want to post something you found on the web, just right click the pic, copy the address and paste into your post

Thank you for asking! I subscribed to Photobucket and posted 2 pictures..have had
a hard time and not been able to post another one with it..

I just tried using the right click and url on one for practice and it worked perfectly.

I have had trouble with Twitter Pictures and need to practice with those!Sure
easier than Photobucket!

understood their process just fine. However, as I said above, I find it time consuming with a lot of steps when you are posting more than one image in a series (one by one). I was hoping the process would have been streamlined since I started uploading photos several years ago, but apparently not...

It's in that menu off to the lower right of the pic you have displayed. It'll show email & IM, html, IMG, etc. You just click on the option to automatically copy the code, then paste it into your msg...

Then crop to the size you want.

Then, using a good musalige glue, affix it to your screen.

(Please don't do this. It will leave you wit a serious clean up problem.)
