also a mini chain called Flippers. They do great work. No idea what their politics are and that's probably how it should be.

I have also eaten at Mr. Van Duzer's place in Ft Pierce. (The huggy bear up there). He's a nice guy that helps his community a lot and makes a fine pizza pie as well.

In Ronkonkoma, and Lake Ronkonkoma, NY, respectively. And then there's Branchinelli's in Hauppauge. They achieve greatness. And then...oh...there are so many. There are a lot of negatives about living on Long Island, but the pizza is a major positive. No reason to resort to chains.

Louie's is DA BOMB. Has been for many years. We try to get down there a couple times a year for a special treat. Great Antipasto too!

protect & give more to the rich & their corporations.....ALWAYS the slimy republican use "small business" as the reason why, when in reality they are just protecting the huge business interest most of whom couldn't care less about small business except to put them out of business to stop any local competition.

The republican couldn't give a fuck less about working owners of small business nor the working people who are working there....

Obama tax plan would help middle-class and small business immensely so fo course the republicans aren't for it...The just wan to to keep that giant Bush tax cuts for the weakliest 1% in tact....

There are no good locally owned pizza places where I live.

Certainly not that meet my standards as a San Francisco Italian dude like myself...

So I make my own dough and my own spicy sauce use a 1" thick rectangular pizza stone, my confection oven evenly moves the heat and always with a pan of hot water inside the oven....then getting everything very hot before I slide the pizza in...

The cheese & toppings are the same just get good quality cheese, meats & organic veggies if one chooses.

Absolutely great.

And up-rate local Italian restaurants as well.

Because Olive Garden sucks along with every chain restaurant out there.

Franzones Pizzeria in Conshocken, PA

Via Veneto's In Norristown, PA

We have dozens of locally owned pizza parlors in my area, and many of them deliver. It's beyond me how the national chains do any business at all around here.
