It’s coming faster than we think.

2022 we reached 523 ppm CO2e.

I don’t want any of the Texas fascists up north in MI.

NONE OF THEM.

I’m sure you don’t want them in Washington State, either.

So happy to be in Oregon now.

one step toward fascism, then another and another, and pretty soon, women and minorities lose their human and civil rights. I can see trying to get in and out of red states getting harder and harder. Sooner.

He claims that parents who treat gender dysphoria are committing child abuse. He wants CPS to remove the children from their parents' custody.

I think that's what is meant here.

the parents for child abuse if they provide gender-affirming care for their trans child. Those g-damn republicans in Texas are weaponizing CPS against the parents. Disclaimer: I have a trans grandchild, whose parents fled Texas for Washington State in 2016. I followed in 2017 after my house sold. I just could not live there anymore.

similar to FLA, allowing healthcare workers to refuse care based on religious objections, our house goes up for sale immediately. We don't even want to visit a state where it's that unsafe for my daughter. Luckily, she got out and is living in a safe place. We haven't run yet, but we have our breaking point

I don't want to be the harbinger of doom, but repugs will find out that their drumbeats against Trans will slowly tamper off, the effectiveness will wear off (but unfortunately the negative effects will linger around longer). But my point here is that they'll find another target to screech and yell about. Be on the lookout, be aware, be safe.

I guess I'm just paranoid, when the hate against one target fades away, the haters find yet another target. I like to think that such hate and such would be loudly disavowed by the masses, perhaps after a round or two of this 'hate', the rest of us will wake up, realize that this 'free speech' proclaiming their hate and such has gone far enough.

It’s a beautiful state. The 400+ miles of unobstructed public coastline is awesome. Between that and being a state that has addressed end of life dignity issues it’s a pretty nice place IMO.

People like this family. My heart goes out to them and I’m glad they made it to Oregon.

I absolutely DO NOT want MAGAts migrating northward to Michigan or any other blue state. With climate change getting worse, I see the attempt coming.

I don’t want their political and religious POISON up here. They will destroy what we are building.
