Texas passes a total public drag ban.
The law bans "sexual gesticulations using accessories or prosthetics that exaggerate male or female sexual characteristics."
It will target all public drag by calling all drag "sexual."
Wonder if it will be used against cheerleaders too.

Hey girls, no more padded or push em up bras for you. No breast enlargement or new kidneys. No butt enhancers and what ever you do, don't hug or touch butt or breasts in public. They passed a law that said that is a no no.

(40,248 posts)These people have issues and are seriously sexually repressed. There is some major projection going on in this legislation.
It is also a well designed distraction so voters wont notice how republicans ruin everything

For Republican men, their packages are so small anyway that they look tucked. So it's just boobs.
For Republican women, that would be any dong that is greater than three or four inches.

(2,897 posts)As long as you don't use any accessories or prosthetics that exaggerate male or female sexual characteristics.
But it looks like a natural middle finger should be good.

I was just pointing out the fact that the Texas lege doesn't seem to legislate in English.

(Like that old Ann Landers trope about preventing teen pregnancy by using a single aspirin - 'hold it between the knees' is completely ineffective when using some very common positions!)

(84,103 posts)You just have to know a stupid, sexually repressed man had to have written it as are the ones that voted to pass the bill. Or one that is unsure of his own masculinity. The gop seemed to be terrified of everything. Hell this is Texas and they are forced out of fear to carry a gun wherever they go. What if they go out for a coffee and it was too damn hot and it burned his mouth, he would be forced to shoot the server for endangering his life! He would stand his ground.
Prosthetics? My guess is no the way the bill was written.

(61,829 posts)However, laws like this are applied selectively. Cheerleaders definitely won't be arrested. These laws are a tool to be used against people the authorities don't like.
