Seriously, no one is getting impeached over benghazi, that is merely a right wing wet dream.

Obama and the GOP, they'd better think twice about trying to impeach the president on any bogus claim.

Obama has been incredibly lucky or has an incredible political sense and staff who measures out every move to a positive end or both.

The GOP tries to compete politically and usually ends up with the egg all over their faces, not the president's.

If they try to pull something here, I think Cantor and the GOP who knew will be the ones on the receiving end of impeachment or jail.

They will look for anything they can and they think Benghazi is just their ticket.

And now they will try to find a way through with their little plant in Patreus's office to get Obama saying there is something more to the story is how they keep trying to lead in there with it.

They are in full attack mode, they hated Clinton and it is worse with Obama.

They need to keep their viewers riled up so they don't start THINKING and figure out they've been manipulated into another reality completely. I'm hoping that the days of the rest of the media following Fox like a male dog after a bitch in heat are done now, with this decisive election and the trouble Murdoch is having in the UK.

Worst case scenario - impeach in the House + no conviction in the Senate = Republicans look like babies who throw tantrums when they lose.

Obama's already doing himself in with his Grand Bargain (or as sensible economists call it: the Great Betrayal) crap. Win or lose, he loses, and we lose.

The class war continues, and Obama is not on your side. Change his mind if you can, but don't expect miracles. I expect our real heroes will be Elizabeth Warren, Alan Grayson, Sherrod Brown, and the like.

The House would bring charges, but the trial would be in Senate, where Democrats have the clear majority.

A few quick little words of caution and sanity:

Dear GOP:

Remember your last little foray down this path? How did that work out for you?

This legally and lawfully elected popular President would wear your impeachments like a badge of honor.

Prediction: NO AMOUNT of ginned up "evidence" will produce your desired outcome. In fact, you will create a political martyr.

Attempting to impeach President Barrack Obama would be just the catalyst needed for Americans to see how truly empty and hollow the GOP really is. Attempt to impeach President Obama, and be prepared for the most stunning shift of power in the House of Representatives ever witnessed.

So please, think this one through. This country will NOT look kindly on another rethuglican fishing expedition.

And word to the wise, GOP, this recent national election should have shown you that you are on very precarious footing. Tread carefully, or the GOP as we know it now may cease to exist.

That shit isn't going anywhere in the Senate. And it makes the House look like petulant little children. Even with the security of heavily gerrymandered districts, we might be able to pick off enough seats to give President Obama a majority during his last two years.
