business done. So this public bluster about firing people because Obama won seems like a cry for public validation of how important (or not) jobs in the pizza industry are.

The average cost to make a $10 pizza is $1.38 yet they are crying that they can't make a profit?!

but i think many businesses greed hasn't outweighed their fear of an obama administration yet. not to mention RW business owners reluctance to admit their error in judgement

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/how-many-businesses-have-announced-closings-or-lay-offs-since-obama-won-a-second-term/

I think they made the announcements last week and I was amazed that within 2-3 days of the election they could organize and layoff hundreds of people. I thought those kind of things took weeks or more to decide who will stay and who will go.

So it seems as if they had these layoffs planned and just held onto them till after the election. For what reason Maybe they were waiting to see if they would get their continued tax breaks or not - or - as some grand statement that employees do as these CEOs say when the next election comes.

Whatever, it sure seems timed and planned.

11. I'm pretty sure it is, but would they totally lie about a company laying off?

I know that's a really stupid question judging from what comes from Glenn Beck and Fox News etc.

But this would be pretty easy to find out, so I was assuming the list was pretty accurate.

That's all I could find at the time.

all news stories about layoffs as though they're being done because of the election. The problem with this is that if you Google layoffs in the news section, you'll always find current news stories. In most cases, the layoffs have nothing whatever to do with the election. Companies layoff workers every day in this country. Other companies hire workers every day.

Unless there's a direct statement by the head of the company, I assume layoffs are just normal business. Only when a company spokesperson says it's because of the election would I assume the election was the cause. I suspect there are very few cases like that.

12. For that specific list, maybe watch Thom Hartman's website or Mother Jones might do one too

Thom Hartman was so focused on election fraud, voter intimidation/suppression etc, that he may be one who will compile a list.

This sounds like something that would be right up Rachel Maddow's road as well.
