(230 posts)kills people. Opinion journalism masquerading as fact-based reporting is the only way to fill the time. There was a time that a portion of news was set aside for editorial and opinion, but it was clearly labeled as such. Now primetime cable news is nothing but opinion which the loudest voices saying whatever pablum gets them a soundbite on social media to up their 'brand'.
