Yes, the SCOTUS gerrymandering decision will affect other cases.

UPDATE: Allen v. Milligan is already impacting other cases.

A federal judge just asked parties in a lawsuit challenging Georgia's congressional and legislative maps to submit briefing on how the Supreme Court's decision in Allen affects the case.

Also:

Today's decision from the U.S. Supreme Court in Allen v. Milligan about Alabama's congressional map will have a far reach. There are currently 30 ongoing redistricting lawsuits in 10 states that stand to be impacted.
