Pat Robertson had a net worth estimated at 100 million dollars

Who knew service to God could be so lucrative?

The New Testament quotes Jesus as saying in Luke 18:25, "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."

Or “you can’t take it with you.”

Wonder which verse he is contemplating now.

Nah! He is now on the second of the next eight miserable incarnations.
See, he doesn't always get 90 years to turn around and face reality.
Now reality is kicking his butt, so to speak.

but was a gate, or a door, or something that a camel easily can actually pass through, and that Jesus was speaking figuratively. This from people who otherwise say the Bible is the absolute literal truth, and interpreting it is heresy.

which makes sense since a cable is much thicker than a thread and that translation would only strengthen the interpretation - Jesus said what he said. And yes, the rich never got over it.
