Having The Trial In Miami Was The Right Decision

For 3 main reasons;

I trust Jack Smith

Trump would have appealed the DC venue all the way to the SC. Do you trust the SC to rule the right way? Once Trump wins that appeal the prosecution is finished, done, there is no do over.

With no reason for an appeal of venue in Miami there is a chance for Smith to get the trial scheduled before the election. They do call Miami the rocket docket.

bonus reason; Smith understands the importance of time.

The U.S. Constitution guarantees trial by jury and venue "... in the State where the said Crimes shall have been committed; but when not committed in any State, the Trial shall be at such Place or Places as the Congress may by Law have directed" (Article III, section 2, clause 3).

They would have had to wait for their ruling sometime next year.

But the support of tfg in southern Florida is a consideration I'm sure he had to weigh heavily in the decision, and it's good for us to be aware of it.

DinahMoHum was the one who pointed it out here and I'm glad she did, though she took no end of shit for doing it.

So my guess is that she'll delay... delay... delay...

They better file charges in DC as well.
