to that effect. Never mind, then. I'll wait for information. I don't do speculation.

but with the CIA so involved in Benghazi intrigue.... one has to at least wonder who really targeted the Ambassador, if he was indeed targeted.

Not sure if we will ever know the truth. It may be exactly what it appears to be but we don't know much about what goes on within our super duper spy agency.

AND a terrorist strike were coincidentally happening at the same time. I find it extremely suspicious that the Romney campaign was excitedly blaming the Obama administration before they even knew who was dead. I find the film funding and well-publicized/perfectly timed release to be suspicious. I don't think the ambassador and his staff were deliberately murdered (except by terrorist forces), but were they deliberately IMPERILED?--the question for me is, what led to the attack, and how was the GOP hoping it was going to go down?

but Ambassador Christopher Stevens died of smoke inhalation. There were no other injuries on his body. Yes the embassy was on fire, but I think of Murder a different way.

It's long but it gets into how that anti-muslim film was produced by a mysterious ex-con who secured funding, equipment, production people, actors, got the video translated to Arabic, got it posted to YouTube and the Arab media alerted of its existence online, all within two months of getting out of jail.
C'mon! And Romney held a press conference to bash the President before the smoke even cleared after the attack on the consulate in Libya. You're damned right something stinks. My guess is that right wing funding engineered the whole thing and it was supposed to swing the election to Romney.

I doubt that he has an ideological bent. I have believed from the beginning that he was paid and used as a front man concerning the production of the film. He must have been paid quite a lot to be willing to return to prison. It's not difficult to identify the money men who would be willing to go to such lengths to influence the election.

I would think it would be very difficult to identify ultimately who the money came from if that person is willing to finance an operation that would go so far as killing. Killing one more, perhaps an investigative reporter like the one in the video, wouldn't seem to make much difference.

Benghazi was a CIA operation. Petraeus was director of the CIA. Petraeus is a Republican. The antimuslim hate filmmaker was a rightwing christian nutjob felon. During the same period, Netanyahu was trash talking about Iran and PBO with help from the GOPKKK leadership. The ME protestors were paid. Adelson pledged $100 million to get Mittnocchio elected. Does anyone really believe he spent all that money on TV ads? About a month ago MSNBC had a story about the military's roach problem. White supremacists joining the US military to obtain weapons and warfare training. Then there was that whole nonsense over Fast & Furious which they claimed the Atty General knew about. Just this week we find out that the ATF arrested 34 white supremacists who were gun running and selling meth. I believe the Ambassador and his ex-Navy SEALS team were acceptable collateral damage for the GOPKKKers.

Recall McChrystal was gotten rid of in a similar way, e.g. Michael Hastings embedded, publishes Rolling Stones article, then McChrystal fired by PBO. Awesome. Here's what happened to McChrystal. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-20008630-503544.html Petraeus was his boss. And here's a comment to the article that is totally on point:

RespectOthersAlways says: Gen. McChrystal is a product of the toxic environment created by Tea Bagger extremists who have a no-holds barred campaign to delegitimize President Obama's administration with a vitriolic campaign of devaluation, denigration, vilification and nullification.

These Tea Baggers have carried partisan politics to its illogical conclusion. They created an environment where a 4-Star General felt it was Ok to violate every cannon of military discipline and the time-honored constitutional underpinnings of this democracy ? the precepts and principles of which he, Gen. McChrystal, not only swore to uphold, but fought for and defended along with countless others for decades.

In a real sense, General McChrystal is a victim of this Tea Bagger extremist illness afflicting the nation. So, while we blame McChrystal for a total breakdown of discipline and chain of command, we must see this travesty for what it truly is: the bitter fruits of Sarah Palin, John McCain, Scott Brown, Rush Limbaugh, Mario Rubio, Glenn Beck, and others who, everyday, sow toxic seeds of intolerance and disregard for the lives of their opponents. Along with these Tea Bagger extremists, we must also blame the House and Senate Republican leadership who, by their deafening silence and disciplined unreasonableness, continue to fan the flames, cuddle up to the extremists, and nurture a dangerously toxic political environment unworthy of civilized and intelligent humanity.

Yes, Gen. McChrystal got carried away with the excesses of the Sarah Palin, Scott Brown, Mario Rubio and others. In so doing, he ruined a great career. Unfortunately, this lesson will most certainly escape most of our Tea Bagger Republican friends who profit significantly from this extremism.

Petreaus was McChrystal's boss. I imagine he must of known how McChrystal felt abou the President and didn't do anything to rein him in. Now we have another journalist embedded with Patreaus during his Afgan stint creating a different situation with the same result. Patreaus is gone.
