I enjoy the new "DU rec" button. It saves me from having to reply with a

"Heah, heah, sire!!", then post my reply. All that wear and tear on the tendons, at my age. I would like to see a similar "like" button on the down-post entries. We have so much to cheer about lately, it would be a good thing. Too much trouble? Never mind, then.

There are so many smart and funny people here and it always makes me sad when I see something, well, smart and funny that doesn't have any replies or kudos. I feel a little rude kicking a thread to the top just to give a thumbs-up, although I often do it just because I hate to imagine the writer feeling sad and ignored.

A like button on posts would be phenomenal!
