Eric Hartsburg Tattoos Mitt Romney Logo Onto Forehead, Speaks Out After Election

It's quite possible that no one is more upset about Mitt Romney's loss than Eric Hartsburg.

The pro-wrestler from Indiana permanently tattooed Romney's presidential campaign logo on his face before the election. Hartsburg was paid $5,000 to get the 5-by-2-inch tattoo after he put his face up "for sale" on eBay.

Hartsburg has no regrets, he told Politico, but he is “totally disappointed” by the election’s results.

“I’m the guy who has egg all over his face, but instead of egg, it’s a big Romney/Ryan tattoo. It’s there for life,” he said.

Hartsburg, who did not tell his wife about the tattoo until an hour before he got it, said he has received a lot of negative feedback. But the self-proclaimed “tattoo guy” said his motive was to make politics fun and he hopes the tattoo will open some doors for him in the entertainment business.

You know... I was having a crappy morning today and I really feel at the end of my rope - but at least I'm not this guy.

Yours would be a good suggestion, but he opened the bidding at $5,000 (and he rejects designs he doesn't like).

me is at least the Clinton tattoo's are on their arm. Otherwise, it seems just as dumb to me to tattoo Clinton on yourself as it does Romney.

Not to judge anyone I have many friends, and relatives who have them, but tattoo's are still dumb. This guys tattoo is especially stupid, because even if Rmoney would've won he would've only been President for 4 to 8 years, and his tattoo would still be stuck on his face for live.

A lot of my girlfriends got tattoos right when they went to college. I didn't. When they asked me why I said it was because most of them look trashy. And even when they don't, you might get tired of them, the aesthetic will go out of style, or you'll get old and they'll shrivel.

Exactly what happened to this guy, except the style changed quicker than most lol.

can't afford to get it removed. Also it takes months and months of painful treatment and colors like red are really difficult to remove totally.

We've learned something... when auctioning yourself as tattooed advertizing space, include the cost of removal as the floor for bidding. You know, just in case... lol

Couldn't you accomplish the same thing for $1.50 by purchasing a marker and writing "I Do Not Want a Job" on your forehead?
