So Obama wins, and 100% of TV talk is about all this entitlement reform we will get.
I kind of thought the entitlement reform candidate was decisively defeated.
I don't know that anyone voted for Obama because they were hankering for entitlement reform... but the TV machine seems quite excitied about it.

why would we want to reform them anyways if we're talking about the Budget?
Unless the problem is that we financed George's wars by dipping into the Social Security and Medicare assets......

You know, I suspect that, on Social Security, we've got a somewhat similar position. Social Security is structurally sound. It's going to have to be tweaked the way it was by Ronald Reagan and Speaker -- Democratic Speaker Tip O'Neill. But it is -- the basic structure is sound, he told the national television audience.
