@AricToler
I remember reading in school about how there would be crowds of civilians who'd recreationally watch battles in the 18th/19th century, and about how insane that sounded at the time.

(36,925 posts)This looks more and more like a coup and I can very much see Prigozhin overthrowing Putin. The timing is perfectly ideal. Im just not convinced Prigozhin is better than Putin, and would quite possibly be much worse. This is the guy Putin was using for the dirtiest of his deeds.

(26,168 posts)Wagner Group has gotten control of some African diamond and mineral mines, and not having to depend upon Putin entirely for a paycheck and equipment$ does tend to shift things a bit. In its own way, Wagner is just as bad as Putin.

(14,728 posts)I have no illusions that Prigozhin would survive a coup attempt, or that he'd be any better than Putin if he succeeded.
I just want to see them both burn their resources in Russia instead of Ukraine.

(13,431 posts)It amazes me these people standing on the streets like they are watching a movie not a coup. More of the Wagner group has kept moving north and are about half way to Moscow but there is also groups spreading out in other directions. They seem to be cutting off Russian troop re-supply routes???
