1. The Same Thing They Always Do

Closing their eyes and PRETENDING the Republican party believes their lifestyle is legitimate.

The nice thing for the repubs, is they can continue to say what they want about gays, pass any law they want restricting the gay lifestyle....heck, they could probably start throwing homosexuals in prison, and they'll still have the support of the log cabin republicans.

Which in turn tells the GOP, no reason to change what isn't broke. They get much more support from the bigots in the party who thinks that gays are the spawn of satan, and that's who they're beholden to.

They only come out when money is under discussion, and then only to make sure they are going to get more than their fair share.

6. Why have a GLBT group that supports Republicans anyway

unless they're actually fighting for equal rights and tolerance for GLBT individuals whom happen to be part of the 1%? If they're not fighting for equality and/or increasing GOP awareness and tolerance of the GLBT community, then they might as well just call themselves "Republicans" and stop the charade of pretending like they really care that the party they belong to is bigoted and hates them (some of its members- I imagine- would probably be o.k. with seeing them dead if they didn't want their votes and money so badly).
Of course, there's no law in this country that you can't vote against your own self interest but still.
