It was a closed session. There were teevee cameras in front of which they could posture and prance. No one would be able to hear them calling Susan Rice not bright. No one would be able to hear them cll Obama weak.
No cameras, no Johnny.

(1,448 posts)McSkippy needs to know with accuracy what was said in the secret committee briefing. He will not get it from the DEMs or the Administration, so he has to beg a REP committee member. If he attempts to use the 2nd-hand info, the Administration may respond with a nitpicky "your statement is inaccurate", and he doesn't know if he's wrong by a micro-inch or a mile. Missing secret Administration briefings is a fast track to losing influence.
