Sympthsical
(10,729 posts)For birthdays, holidays, etc., any mailed presents I do are pretty much just through Amazon. Flowers to mom through online flower services.
For about ten years, I only used one stamp a month to mail a rent check. Once I bought a house, the mortgage just gets auto-deducted.
I honestly don't think I even have stamps in the house. The only thing I can think of that's been outgoing in the past few years is my ballot, which doesn't need a stamp.

Sympthsical
(10,729 posts)Like a $2.50 fee to auto-deduct/pay online. They got rid of it, because people were totally baffled.

(3,467 posts)...but although I am not a stamp collector, I do buy panels of stamps that I just love, like John Lennon, Marvin Gaye, Edmonia Lewis, and Elvis Presley (for my best friend). You can bet I will buy at least one panel of RBG.

(97,317 posts)Don't get used either. I live in a rural place, the USPS is a vital service here and so I support it. as I can.

(41,013 posts)When the SHTF, we can all fall back on the fact that the Postal Service has a long tradition of protecting both the cover and contents of mail. Mail protections are grounded in the 4th Amendment, federal criminal and civil statutes, postal statutes and regulations, and court decisions.
18 USC Ch. 83: POSTAL SERVICE - U.S. Code
And more
§ 1701 (obstruction of mails generally); 18 U.S.C. § 1703(b) (opening,destroying, or detaining mail without authority); 18 U.S.C. § 1707 (theft of property used by postal service); and 18 U.S.C. § 1711 (misappropriation of postal funds)

The Scottish league champion said Ginsburgs name will appear on the left sleeve of the teams jerseys, which will be unveiled before the season kicks off next month.
A pioneer, feminist icon and role model, her work, rulings and dissenting opinions have paved the way for justice, equality and civil liberties, club manager and co-founder Laura Montgomery said.
