Just how big is this Petraeus story??
It's like an onion and everyday another layer is peeled off.
I am beginning to think that we need a full-scale investigation.
Because of my own personal bias, I have never trusted the CIA. Even during Democratic Administrations, they have operated with and for the Republican Party, in my opinion. It is foolish to think they work for our country, no matter which Party is in the White House. I think that is a mistake made by every Democratic President going back to at least JFK.
But, partisanship notwithstanding, how many layers are on this onion? It is no small deal when a mistress knows the schedule of the CIA Director. There are people in this world that would like to have that information, I do not doubt.
However, how could anyone not be suspicious of the entire intelligence set-up, knowing what we know already about the incestuousness of the top generals in the Command at Tampa Bay, running the drone programs and satelite intelligence programs, and the long-time friendships of those in charge of our intelligence. Richard Nixon thought the CIA worked for him and sometimes, it looks as if they still do?
We need to know just how many people are involved in this separate entity called the CIA that thinks it does not have to answer to anyone in the US Government if they are Democrats. After all, they are saying that the President did not know what was going on, even though the FBI and the CIA knew about it? What does that tell us? I think this is a very serious matter and we need to get to the bottom of it. Just don't dig too deep....
