counted. The latest number was updated about 4:30 p.m. Thursday by the Arizona Secretary of State's Office.
A state canvass to certify official election results for federal, statewide and legislative races is scheduled for Dec. 3.
Maricopa County election officials continue chipping away at tabulating and processing early and provisional ballots in the 2012 General Election.
As of Thursday, there were about 17,000 early ballots left to tabulate. Roughly 103,000 provisional ballots are still awaiting processing and tabulation.

The protest was very LARGE there tonight. I didn't arrive until it was almost over and the parking lot was still full of people. I'm pooped.

(2,012 posts)at all. There are STILL enough there to flip the Penzone and Carmona races, but ONLY if the provisional ballots (MOSTLY Latino) get counted.

(22,670 posts)The last one still showed Republican Jeff Flake leading and Democrat Richard Carmona. Maybe we'll know more tomorrow.
Man, is Arizona slow! Glad as hell someone is pressing them to keep counting until all the ballots are counted.

(2,012 posts)Unfortunately, Carmona has consistently trailed by 80K. My only hope was for those (again, MOSTLY Latino) provisional ballots to be counted.
