(256 posts)As a blueman fan, both the blue state prez and the avante garde percussion trio, and a frustrated resident of "Texjezustan", I cringe whenever governor (p)Rick Perry opens his mouth.

(3,825 posts)I feel your pain. Lived in Tejas for 16 years, Houston area. Got one of my wishes when Tom Delay went down in flames, but didn't get to stay to turn Texas blue. Now I get to live in Todd Akin's crazy ass state of Missouri. Seems I go from one red state horror story to another. Well, I just fly my Obama/Biden 2012 bumper sticker even higher.

(256 posts)please move back, it's lonely down here for progressives. I too live in the Houston area, actually one of the southern suburbs that are so Pro Romney I throw up in my mouth a little bit when I drive through neighborhoods. And I'll see your Todd Akin and raise you that teabag turd (hopefully turd isn't over the top--I guess I'm still learning the posting rules) Ted Cruz.

(256 posts)commit said Forum Foul. My "epithet" was an "over the top" reference to the great lengths Shitt Romney would go to for campaign contributions, and when I employed the "crack for fellatio" reference indelicately, I was roundly rebuked. I've been a loyal lover of DU since the Bob Boudelang days I swear and affirm that I would never, ever, ever hurl an epithet toward anyone on this forum.

I mean were only talking a few thousand people and let's face it - some of these are remote enough that hopefully they won't have an impact on anyone else in the world.
