No surprise there, Kelley hob-nobbing with the 1%'ers at the big GOP shindig. But, what underlies her self-insertion into this world of the powerful movers and shakers in NeoConVille?

As Petraeus’s former staff member phrases her job description, she was a "’self-appointed’ go-between for Central Command officers with Lebanese and other Middle Eastern government officials."

It looks to me like she's merely a social climbing grifter, I had seen no reports of her of her sister doing anything on behalf of others. Hell, she and her sister crashed a fund-raising dinner for Marco Rubio, got a photo with him, and split without even contributing to his campaign.

I don't see where it matters who invited her to the RNC...if the GOP wants to invites grifters to their convention, that's their priviledge. Of course, its likely that ALL the attendees were grifters...

My point, since obviously you missed it, is that anyone with a connection could have wrangled a floor pass to the RNC. Hell, I could have gotten a pass with 2 or 3 phone calls, and I'm a Democrat. So who got her the pass doesn't really matter.

And once there, why wouldn't she start grifting? Its who she is...we should be shocked? Her attempt not only backfired, but also was probably small potatoes compared to other influence-peddling going on at the RNC.

I imagine almost everyone who lives on Bayshore Blvd is a member. Its more Country Club than Yacht Club, they have docks but few boating activities. There's stables, tennis courts, Olympic pool, but mostly known for the bar and dining facilities.
