Judge denies Allen West’s recount request; focus now on 4 p.m. canvassing board meeting

OK - one more hurdle to go and we can finally say bye-bye to Allen West

From a later post on this page:

". . . 800 votes vanished over the weekend when an unsanctioned recount was conducted on electronic voting machines in one county in the district. Those vanished votes allowed West to gain 500 votes on Murphy - bringing the margin between the two candidates very close to just a half-percent, which would trigger an automatic recount.

There was a mis-tabulation of a few days of the early voting. West did gain about 500 votes because of this. And because of this retabulation he is wanting a full recount
