I've been "boycotting" Hostess for decades.

I like Little Debby snacks better.
They taste better and usually cost less.

The people I do feel for are the workers. As usual, they get screwed while the big guys make lots of Golden Parachute money.

6. Why should I?

It's painfully obvious the big guys at the top cut all sorts of corners to increase the profits, I just read that the top CEO got a 300% raise while he was running the company into the ground.

Cutting those corners made Hostess stuff worse.

The workers had to go along of course.
And they are getting screwed while the big guys make out like the bandits they are.

Ho Ho (or whatever those things are) in my life.

I don't know that I've ever had anything made by Hostess. I think their stuff just looks gross.

I stopped eating them 20 years ago. It's obvious that vulture capitalism is at work in this company.

8. I've been boycotting them since the 1950s

I refused to eat them as a kid back then. Nothing but SUGAR. I certainly don't eat them now, nor Little Debbie, or Crispy Cremes. If I eat anything, it is local bakery items or something I make myself at home.

10. But Little Debbie doesn't have "Sno-Balls"
Fri Nov 16, 2012, 08:43 PM

My grocer never has Sno-balls. I have to go to my local general store (convenience store with car and pump parts -- this is the national forest, after all) to get Hostess Sno-Balls. Fortunately, in the dead of winter with snow up to your keester, they still have had both the white and the pink Hostess Sno-Balls. My preference is the white. It matches the color of the snow as I drive the six miles back to my home in the Manistee National Forest.

But, most fortunately, there is a Sno-ball replacement. Cannot remember the name. But I am pretty sure that these will out last those of Hostess.

... is no doubt a tad upset by this news.

Little fellow has to be so busy gathering up his favorite - Twinkies.
