I want any DUer to explain to me on what basis

WilLIARd Rmoney thought he was going to win the Presidential election.
It's one thing to spin confidence to the public and have your hacks feeding them BS statistics, but they must have had the real numbers which always had Obama ahead.

Their responses make no sense ...unless - which would explain Rove's live meltdown and Rmoney's shell shock!!!!

Still winning is fun!!

and the voter suppression was unsuccessful. Both worked in 2000 and 2004, so they expected the same results in 2012.

Same principle. Willard was paying his staff big bucks to be lied to so he could continue to lie to rest of us. However, as soon as the election was conceded, the credit cards were cancelled. So those making money from Dullard weren't about to cut their own financial throats too early by enlightening the fool before he signed their October checks.

ORCA is a program that places itself into the stream that networks county and state election computers. When ORCA is working it is connected to county and state election computers.

At each county computer are read/write pages showing vote totals.
(Read/write means that you can write to that screen and read what was written and rewrite it so that it reads different. On DU you are working with a read/write program. Simply, it is called editable.)

So as the numbers are entered at county level, ORCA reads the numbers and changes those numbers at will. The data entry person at the county computer is updating so much that they can't keep track of the changes.

If the count is from a DRE -- Direct Recording Electronic -- there is no data entry person. The numbers are written from one computer to another without any human sight.

OpScans numbers are also transferred electronically: from a red/write memory stick.

So, there is ORCA with a human sitting there looking at the numbers coming in and editing those numbers as the person sees fit. Those new numbers are sent over the network to the county computers. Changing those numbers sight unseen. It doesn't even have to be a human, it could be a computer program reading and writing.

What Anon claims to have done is place an administrative password on the ORCA system keeping the person at the ORCA keyboard from logging in (much like you log in to DU) thereby stopping ORCA for accessing the network and rewriting the numbers on the county and state computers.

The following article from the St. Pete Times details election officials not being able to publish its results until 16 minutes after the polls were closed in one Florida county that prides itself on being the first to upload its data to the web.

and didn't believe polls that didn't jive w/their inside polls, which showed Romney ahead a bit.

But to be SO confident you'd win? I think that was confidence in Rove rigging.

They believed that they had more favorable voters Colin to the polls than Obama and some of the posters believed. Turns out that Obama pollsters had a better understanding of the makeup of the electorate than the Romney people did. This lead to Romney targeting the wrong people at the wrong time.

11. He and his team fell for the Big Lie
Fri Nov 16, 2012, 08:50 PM
Nov 2012

A character named Neil Newhouse floated the proposition that the polls were badly skewed because there was no way the overwhelming support for Obama would materialize again since Democrats were disappointed by his lack of economic progress. Newhouse didn't have a scrap of evidence to back this up, nor did he perform his own polls. He just believed it to be true and Romney, his handlers, and all their sugar daddies also believed it.

This is the reason for that "Unskewed Polls" site. It was a Newhouse brainchild and of course the movers and shakers just loved it.

It's fun to see them get skewered by their own Big Lie. They're still in shock right now, but I expect the fallout to be extensive once they figure out what really happened. After all, it's one thing to lie to the country and quite another to lie to the bosses.

Thought that with all the money he had behind him...he had bought, paid, signed, delivered Ohio and Florida to Mitt. That explains Rove's explosive meltdown!

Obamas team on the ground made this happen! As well as PO himself.

Anyone else here think we should hire PO's team for.... oh lets see the next 30 years or so! I do!

I mean, ask yourself if Americans (particularly very wealthy Americans) have qualms about rigging elections in Central or South America. Of course they don't. Well, why not here there? Surely there's no Morality Barrier protecting us from our own corrupt assholes.

Why would anyone donating millions to a campaign have any compunction about cheating?

here's where I have ended up:

They had the numbers from not only the public polls but their internal polls and must have known the real facts yet they could not accept them. Why?

I think it's that they did not believe the American people would vote in great numbers again for Obama partly due to the depressed turnout in 2010 but even more because they refused to accept the American public were going to vote for President Obama as their preferred President.

I think they had talked themselves into believing the American public voted for Obama in 2008 as some kind of 'grand experiment', the election of the first African-American for President, they delusionally thought the American public would 'regain their senses' and turn back the clock to more traditional (racist) ideas. They were SO wrong and that is why they are in such a frenzy. The very plank of their party, their basest beliefs have been proven to be irrevocably and profoundly wrong.

In one way, this election was more important, more powerful than the 2008 one, in that it affirmed the American people WERE voting for Barrack Obama, both in 2008 and again in 2012, because of what he stood for, because they trusted him, believed he does have their best interests at heart.

I could be dead wrong on this but this, to me, is the only thing that might make sense.

So, Ohio wasn't screwed with much. A moot point because of FL, VA, CO, IA, NV... ever battleground state but NC went blue, and NC acme THIS close, and was a very deep purple.
