I live in a kind of rough neighborhood

Sometimes people steal or rob or fight , even kill

Lots of times the police have to come, kick in a door and haul a few creeps away

Luckily I don’t live somewhere where the authorities bomb a few square miles for a week before the cops come in

Just saying, if someone or some group does something awful no civilized people should bomb/ punish all the neighbors, in case a bad guy is hiding with them

and technological advancement that humans have achieved over the millenia, the basic inherent flaws of being "human" have never permitted people anywhere at any time to be able to live together in peace without devastating and horrific conflicts.

Hamas is a terrorist organization that’s been killing people for many years. They commit their crimes from inside mosques, schools, hospitals, and apartment buildings.

They’ve built a huge underground bunker to hide out in and smuggle bombs and weapons.

Oh and they’re also the local police.

Does this describe your neighborhood?

If an overarching govt agency like the FBI or ATF came in to try to capture or kill the hundreds of thousands of terrorists “in your neighborhood”, do you think there’d be a lot of destruction and mayhem given the logistics?

Would you be evacuated out of the area while the FBI did their work?

If you didn’t evacuate, even if told to, and stayed in your apartment while they hunted the terrorists, whose responsibility is it if you get shot or killed during the manhunt?

I don't imagine this is news to anyone here.
