New format help --The key to simple operation of the new format on my laptop or desktop

1. place the cursor on the "Navigate" button in the upper left hand corner
2. left click the mouse and a drop down menu of 12 selections appears
3. lower the cursor to the fist choice in the blue block entitled "latest discussions" and hover the cursor over the blue block until it turns yellow
4. Now here is the delight of the new format---simply right click the cursor and choose the option of
"open in new tab" --The new tab is labeled "latest discussions"
5. repeat this action on all 12 choices and you have a day full of Democratic Underground
6. I am using Google Chrome on my PC to do this and I keep a "Democratic Underground window"
open all day . When I want the latest update I just open a tab and hit the refresh tab ---for me this is EZPZ---if you need help I would be glad to help

If there's no change, you're probably dead.

I have a good friend that knows how to keep a computer updated. I have 32 gigs of RAM (random access memory) that allows me to keep a lot of windows and tabs open at the same time. I also use a product called Malwarebytes that has kept me virus free for 10 years. I am NOT a tech wiz, but my 78 year old mind knows that a bit of tech challenge is good for me.

On iOS, hold down and select "open in background". Dunno for android.

On computers, one of the following:
• Command click (Apple) (opens in new tab) settable in browser preferences
• Control click
• Right click (any mouse but Apple's. Get one at Office Depot. USB always works. )

Disclaimer: I get no perks from Office Depot, unless you use my old phone number (redacted) to get credits.
