Judy Woodruff just zinged trump*, BIG time

Telling how when she asked the Carters how they thought President Biden was doing, Rosalynn's response was, and I'm paraphrasing a bit, 'Thank goodness he's in office'.

I wish a camera had been focused on Melania's face.

Tue Nov 28, 2023, 06:22 PM

That’s all it is.

She was invited because of the position she once held, not because “We, the DUers” endorse her opinions. It would have been unmannerly for the Carters to exclude her, and they are gracious people. The Carters know how to behave.

Donald was excluded because among other things he tried to overthrow the US Government, and he is also raging and demented and insists on being the center of attention at every occasion. The Carters did the right thing.

but at least all but one of the other former and current FLs are trying. Laura Bush supports libraries and education; we all know about Hillary's and Michelle Obama's accomplishments during and after their husbands' presidencies; Jill Biden is very active - but all Melania ever did was get new "kidneys," decorate the WH with crimson death trees for focking Kreesmas, get her nails and hair done and make it obvious that she didn't give a shit about anybody but herself. She couldn't even be bothered to find a black dress for the occasion.

Whatever tf that even means.

To give the devil her due, she never wanted to be flotus. From what I've read, she wasn't happy about Slobby running and was even less happy about him winning. I think she hated almost everything about it and was relieved when it was over. Still, a real adult would have understood the concept of rising to a challenge and tried a bit harder to do so.

Then again, a real adult would not be married to the Slobfather. So there you go.
